Mission and Global Justice

About This Course

The Mission and Global Justice e-course is a masters level unit that can be taken as part of an MA in Mission at Cliff College or can be studied on its own either with or without credit. The course addresses a range of issues associated with the contemporary challenge of globalisation. These include issues of poverty, justice, international development, climate change, consumerism and migration. The course is an online course which most of the time students can study at their own pace. However, students will obtain most from the course if they engage in the interactive classroom discussions at set times which are indicated as you progress through the course. This is a 30 credit unit. This course is available between 28th September and 23rd October 2020 as a four week unit.

Requirements

Students wishing to take the course for credit will need to apply to Cliff College. The standard entry requirement is to have an undergraduate degree in a humanities discipline (2:ii or higher). However, the College also welcomes applicants via its non-standard entry route. Further details are available from the College. If you are not taking the course for credit then no prior qualifications are needed. The course does not require students to have prior expertise in biblical studies, theology or globalisation. However, familiarity with these disciplines and / or a willingness to engage at masters level is required.
